Breakfast energy booster

 

 

I often have my own recepie for granola for 10 years now, it is always on the bench, available for us at any time.

 

This very morning, i came across a beautiful new recepie for home made Granola. The recepie id=f from a book called "Little joys" (my translation from hebrew), by Orli Palai Bronshtein & Einat Avital. 

 

180 ml pure maple syrop

80 ml huled/unhulled Tahini

250 gr oats (not intstant)

150 gr varuety of nuts and seeds (pecan, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds)

1 teaspoon of cinnamon if you like the cinamon favour.

 

Heat the oven to 180 degrees. 

Warm the maple syrop and the Tahini in the microwave for 20 seconds, or in a sauspen until its melting. 

Mix the oats and nuts and seeds together and pour the maple and tahini mixture on top. mix together. 

Flatten it on a baking plate with bakong paper. 

 

Bake for 20 minutes and mix after 10 minuted from the start of the baking. 

 

Cool the granola and than move to a dry staorage container.
